Hello everyone,and thank you for visiting our new website, we really hope you will enjoy your visit and return often to see what the Richardson Brothers are up to. We are a family oriented gospel group organized by our father back in the early 1960s. It was the dream of our father to organize a gospel singing group using his family, and because he had eight boys and no daughters the group was named The Richardson Brothers. Daddy was also our manager, and our mother was our biggest supporter.

It was always to look out in the audience and see your family enjoying what you were doing and supporting you, but when we saw our mother it really brought joy to our hearts. Mamma would tell us we did good even when we knew we were off. She was truly our biggest supporter,and motivator.  It was also very gratifying for our father to listen to the group he formed. In addition to being our manager he was also our musician, his instrument of choice the lead guitar, nothing made him prouder than playing for his boys.

We know that it would please him to know that the gospel group he started over fifty years ago is still travailing from church to church singing God's praises, as well to know that now that group includes a second generation. He would be very pleased to know that his grandchildren are now helping to keep his dream alive, especially now that their are only three original brothers in the group.

 

The three original brothers are Jimmie, Jene, and Julian. Jimmie has been in the group the longest, and he is proud to have his son Victor, Jene is proud to have his son Travis, and Julian  is very proud to have his son Joshua with him.  Our younger brother Jackie who has gone home to be with the Lord would be proud to know that his son Keith is filling for him. It is our hope and prayer that This gospel group know as The Richardson Brothers will continue for another fifty years going from church to church singing the gospel.
